Patrick is the kind of actor that will have every blue haired lady or steel faced critic clamoring to thank him as soon as he's given a performance. Always people who are floored by him for the first time. Thinking they recognize him from somewhere else. Or that they should. He never backs away from the stakes of the scene, the comedy, the heart, the nuance that his intelligence creates. He was my first real mentor who was an actor and not a teacher and because he showed regards and support to my own ambitions I am always grateful especially when I have seen how masterful his craft truly is. I read this and simply had to second your truths. And to truly know an actor as they know themselves is the great gift of love you can give. Same goes for any profession. Well played.
